Testimonial Books
Rollin’ – Della’s life story (up to age 50 in 2019)
People often ask for her testimony, well, here it is! 🙂
When praying about what to call the first 50 years of her life, Della’s “Newcastle Dad” said to her, “There’s no moss on you, girl!” (based on the phrase “A rolling stone gathers no moss“) referring to her nomadic lifestyle in ministry. When she was a teen, “I expected to have a ‘normal’ life – get a boyfriend, get engaged, get married, get a car payment, get a dog, get a mortgage, get some children, get them through school, get the aged pension, and then die”. But, when she was 22 years old, the LORD showed her that she was not going to have children. It was an inkling that she would not have that ordinary life – turns out she had an extra-ordinary one! It was not easy, but it sure was fulfilling for her!
Beyond Understanding Series
The BU series will be a series of 7 books about the various seasons of Della’s life:
- “Beyond Understanding – Peace” – Della’s love story set in 1991-1994 – the testimony of how they met, when God gave her the Peace which passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) about marrying a “old” guy (he was in his 30s!) which she hardly knew.
- “Beyond Understanding II – Love” (1994-2004) – growing in love with her husband and our “Apostolic style” travelling ministry together over the first decade of their marriage, down the east coast of Australia. [Currently being written]
- “Beyond Understanding III – Grace” – the next 3 years of their marriage (2004-2007) as her husband goes through a mid-life crisis and their marriage was on the rocks. God flooded her with His incredible Grace (see 1 Timothy 1:14) to stick with their marriage even though it was so awful.
- “Beyond Understanding IV – Faith” – The LORD opened the door to travelling ministry with the Covenant Players* (2010 to 2015) around Australia and New Zealand. They had little income on the road, but He allowed CP share the Gospel through plays. She had to learn to live by faith!
(*see www.covenantplayers.org) - “Beyond Understanding V – Joy” (2015-2019) the LORD then opened up the door to do international travelling ministry “To go into all the world… to the Jew first and also the Gentiles” – she just stepped into the role of admin assistant to an Israeli evangelist and together they travelled throughout 23 countries worldwide. It was Della’s dream job! What a joy! (See www.HITinternational.net)
- “Beyond Understanding VI – Grace again” is the story she is currently living (2023 – 2024) the story of the incredible grace the LORD poured into their relationship so their marriage could be restored (read the summary www.kedesh.net/grace).
- “Beyond Understanding VII – ? ” – currently being lived and yet to be written!
Biblical Novels
Women’s Work – about Deborah and Jael
This delightful Biblical novel by Della gives us the fictional backstory behind the Bible’s narrative of Deborah & Jael in Judges, chapters 4 and 5.
Though the Scriptures do not indicate that Deborah (who became Israel’s fifth judge) and Jael even knew each other, in this tale they are best friends. Read as the two completely contrasting characters balance each other and encourage one another to live out their God-given destinies, accomplishing far more than any Jewish woman was expected to do – going beyond the norms of traditional “Women’s Work”.

Alone with Him
A devotional by Della to encourage those of us who are feeling alone. Still writing it, adding to it, adjusting it, but you can get a glimpse by clicking here.
The Triennial Messianic Devotional Bible (TMDB)
he TMDB will be a reading plan to cover the whole Bible in three years with devotions by Messianic Jews every day to help us understand what we are reading (similar to the situation where the apostle Philip came to the Ethiopian eunuch’s aid in Acts 8:26-40):
- Every day – a word of Wisdom meme – from Proverbs / Ecclesiastes to memorise.
- Weekdays – a portion from the Old Testament and smaller portion from the New Testament, with separate devotion for each (perhaps could be read morning and evening)
- On Shabbat – read a portion of the Torah (Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) with an insightful devotion.
- A Song on Sundays – read a Psalm or Song of Solomon with a devotions by Messianic Jews.

“How to…” Books
“Connection” – Building the kingdom by building relationships while travelling.
Della shares her experiences while doing international travelling ministry. This book was birthed when she wrote vast notes in preparation for a podcast interview with Sarah from the Christian Travellers’ Network in February 2020: CTN 42: Host Families w/ Della Brown

Poetry
Over the years, often in the middle of the night, the LORD has occasionally inspired Della to write poetry.
Successful Life
Back in 2005, someone told Della about a poetry competition by Bright Life Multimedia. The theme was “Successful Life”. That night she could not sleep because these words were whirring around her head so she got up and wrote them down. She won 2nd prize – $50!
